I was born and raised in Athens. I studied Interior Design at VAKALO art and design college in Athens and continued with a Master in Product Design at De Montfort University in United Kingdom.

 

After I graduated from the Master, I worked for several years as an Interior Designer, working on a large scale projects. In recent years, I have been devoted to designing and making jewelry, approaching it as a small scale decorative object.

 

The materials I use in my jewelry are silky textiles and yarns, metal, ropes, rubbers, and wooden elements. But I do not stop experimenting with new materials. What makes them distinctive, is that they have a multiform character. I create intense colour combinations, forms and shapes, giving everyone the chance to "play" and create a special and different jewel each time, putting a piece of his personality or the mood of the moment. Representative, is the collection I've created, "play and tie it as you like". Apart from jewelry, they can also have other uses, such as being worn as a belt, as a ribbon, braided in the hair and whatever else puts the imagination of each one. There is also the possibility of custom made jewelry, for a special occasion.

The fact that I have a special preference for geometry, forced me to apply it to my work. So, by combining silky yarns with metal, I create pure, plain lines and geometric shapes that make up a special jewel.

 

I am inspired by the most unexpected things, situations, people, the least anticipated moments.

My ambition is, the constant development of my work and as a result, to have more and more reaction not only from Greece, but abroad as well.
